advert Japanes version of I go to sleep by the Pretenders

There is a advert on the TV and the song sounds like ita a cover version of the Pretenders song I go to sleep  I think.  It sounds like it in japanese , does any one Know the Artist and song title ?.

I think the one you mean is a French tune that accompanies the latest Eurostar ad.

It is a French version of the Ray Davies song 'I Go To Sleep' which was a hit for the Pretenders. It was originally recorded in the 1960's by a singer called Virginie, and is called 'Tu Crois Toujours' which means 'You Always Think", but as permission to use the track could not be obtained, it was re-recorded especially for the Eurostar ad with a new vocal by singer Suzanne Barbieri. Her website address is below, although there's nothing about the ad on it at present, I know it was her!
